Our world is filled with an eclectic group of people. However, I do believe everyone can be placed in one of two categories: those who like change and those who fear change.
Maggie did not have a very long life on Earth. She lived only five years. However, every year I noticed changes in her. Every summer, she would find a different spot in the yard she liked to nap, or spy on the neighbors. Our walks on the trail always had her pulling on the leash towards a different path, with new things to smell. She was always looking for the next adventure- with tail wagging & tongue panting.
Change can mean a modification, transformation, revolution, or an amendment. Isn’t our purpose in life to be life-long learners? How does one learn without transforming? Change can be scary, uncomfortable and even intimidating. However, the opposite of change is stagnate; isn’t that scarier? Change is inevitable- you can either learn or grow with it, or you can watch others around you learn & grow.
Which person are you?
“Stepping onto a brand-new path is difficult, but not more difficult than remaining in a situation, which is not nurturing to the whole woman.”
